But floating investment properties come with a price, too—a high one

Purchasing floating investment properties is no small matter. These types of condos can cost as little as $3.7 million and as much as $40 million—it’s not a decision you’ll want to make overnight or on impulse. However, the cost comes with all the amenities, including a place to house your sailboat and jet skis and a helipad, in case your friends and family are coming for a visit.
Additionally, floating investment properties offer the opportunity to wake up in a different country nearly every day of the week. Your current investment properties can’t offer that kind of appeal. If you had the money, wouldn’t you want to wake up in places like the Bahamas and Thailand?
